Muskan Foundation Vijaypur Welcomes You

Mrs. Parveen Sangral
(Founder & President)

Muskan Foundation started its journey in 2001 as an unregistered organization where it worked day and night tirelessly to work for Persons With Disability and Children With Special Needs. Being disabled myself, I had a clear vision and understanding of what was needed and what lacked. We worked hard to make people understand their rights and the opportunities provided by the government to them. We uplifted, informed, and arranged many requirements for PWDs and CWSN at large to uplift and empower them. In this course of years, we helped many Senior Citizens also. As a social organization, we also realized that getting recognition will add strength and meaning to our mission.

In 2019, we achieved formal recognition under the Registrar of Societies Act VI of 1998 by the State Government of Jammu & Kashmir. Further accolades followed, as in 2021, we were acknowledged under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016, becoming the Muskan Foundation. This recognition was solidified when the National Trust, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, formally registered us under The National Trust Act 1999 on November 17, 2021.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported us financially and in all manners. I would especially like to thank our executive committee, whose continuous support has been precious. It gives me great pride to see that the seed sown a few years ago has now flowered into a tree, giving shadow and bearing fruits, enjoying the summers and spring, and braving the winter. Now the organization has deep-rooted ties with the community to serve them in a better way.
